April McClellan is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and the Director of Full-Service Partnership (FSP) department at Masada Community Mental Health Services, with over twelve years of experience working with individuals, children, adolescents, adults, and families in both the community mental health and private practice setting. Being service oriented, April values providing quality care to the clients and staff that she serves. Her heart for service has led her to work with some of our most vulnerable populations including people experiencing homelessness, the justice system involved individuals, and those facing socioeconomic challenges. April is inspired by her dedicated team of behavioral health professionals, who are committed to providing a meaningful, human experience for the individuals and families they assist daily.
Because of the diligent work of her dedicated team, April began her doctoral journey in social work in August 2022 to further her study, growth and development of interventions and viable solutions to address one of the 13 Grand Challenges of Social Work: Homelessness and the risk factors affecting adult clients. With the focus to develop the infrastructure of a learning collaborative that fosters skill building, feedback loop, sharing of knowledge and effective tools that will increase staff preparedness and client engagement and outcomes, April and the FSP team are working towards a professional learning community that will support the necessary pivots and changes in service delivery that promotes an “All Hands-on Deck” dynamic to best serves the needs of clients and their families.
